Adam's Pool and Spa Service, accessibility statement

Our accessibility standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C. This is the standard most widely referenced for website accessibility in the United States. Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state: we review the site as we add pages and fix issues as we find them or as visitors report them.

What we have done

Steps we have taken across this website:

Structured pages with a logical heading order and descriptive headings so screen reader users can navigate by section.
Written text alternatives for meaningful images, so photos of our work and team are described rather than skipped.
Built navigation, forms, and interactive elements to be usable by keyboard alone.
Chosen text and background colors with sufficient contrast, and sized text so it can be enlarged in the browser without breaking the layout.
Made the site responsive, so it works on phones, tablets, and desktops, in portrait or landscape.
Labeled form fields on our contact and scheduling forms so assistive technology announces what each field is for.

Known limitations

Some pages embed third-party content, such as Google Maps, that we do not control and that may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Where an embed carries important information, such as our location and service area, the same information is available as text on the page or by phone. If you hit anything else on the site that does not work with your assistive technology, we want to know about it.

Feedback and alternative access

If any part of this website is difficult to use, or you need information from it in another form, contact us and we will help directly. Everything on this site, including service details, scheduling, estimates, and warranty information, is also available by phone. Call (562) 522-2203, email hello@adamspoolandspa.com, or use our contact form. When you report an accessibility problem, please tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will work to fix it.
